Has anyone taken their dog to Petsmart Dog Training Classes?
I 'm looking for some information about the other people' s personal experience of the training classes offered by Petsmart. Please only answer if you're someone experienced with training a dog or if you have taken these classes in person yourself. How well have helped him and his dog? If you had to do over again you? What are some of the methods they teach you and your dog? Are recommending that I take my dog with the beginner's class. Where I 'm not exactly sure as to help my dog already knows the basic sit, stay, no, place, and quiet "command, but he can never hurt to re-learn the basics. The reason I'm thinking of these classes is because I 'hyper active dog HS that refuses to listen to when he 's excited (I' m sure many people have this problem). He 's well-fed, exersized well and gets lots of attention. The biggest problems we have with him are: ~ Doesn 't listen when you are excited, excited all the time. ~ the Barks for any reason and continue scraping after being told not a. ~ Bullies his way through the thresholds get anyone in your path (the lobby doors, exterior doors) ~ Chews in cats (never in a hurtful way but always playful dog that was a big it could possibly hurt them at any time) ~ Plays aggressively with the older dog when she doesn 't want (usually it can put in place when it doesn' t want to play though) ~ Always eat those as if he 'never heard of food sa spite of the various methods we' ve tried to get it back (the veterinarian said he could not stop until this older but no matter what we do) ~ Constantly pushing the limits of your example: when you say put it on the floor scoot forward steadily caught up and told to stay, or waiting for you to look away and get right back again. ~ Always in the back of your legs whenever you get up and walk across a room, sniffing at the back of his knees and made people fall down before. ~ Extremely aggressive towards other dogs to intimidate (not a playful way) looks like he is trying to prove something, loading them, scraping, showing his teeth, trying cornering. We tried: Training krat Halter Ignore MAI? No method of behavior Method of constant Method of Dog Massage Method of distraction with toys Petsmart is offering a class for 8 weeks for $ 109.00 we can go back and we want to drink at any time for free. Those who have taken this class before you think it will help the vagaries that this dog is? You think I might go for something a little more blunt? If anyone has a dog like mine and have tried these classes about their experiences? Any help that could be given would be great! Thanks in advance! Becoming more involved with dog training? Career?
Good afternoon everyone. I am, yet again, faced with a dilemma of race. I can not decide just what I do, although I know that I will be more excited if it work with dogs for the rest of my life. I know that there are several ways to go about doing this, and my main interests lie in the preparation and training. My question here, though, is on the training. How one goes about getting experience with the training? I know there are plenty of options: mentoring, training academies of the dog, participating in other training classes, etc.. I have looked at several academies training the dog, and I've been really impressed by just one (more impressed by the instructor that the academy itself). Definitely heed courses at this school, but here is where I want to finish my education. I'm taking the decision to take time to do college all this. I know this probably will end up being a really bad decision on my part, but never know if I do not try, and the college now just isn 't that is resolved for me. So with all this in mind, what else can I do to extend my dog-related education? I am interested in training dogs for films, most of participation as attending, working possibly for some reason in the AKC (I am game but what I think of the organization), police dogs or dogs possibly training guide … Basically, I'm open to suggestions and would love to try everything.
Do you have any training dogs tips?
We just get a new 11 weeks old Rottweiler. I am not a dog person, and I don 't know too much about the training. Any tip would help. One specific question I have is: He likes to lick his hands, and once and a while, rubbing his teeth into them. A little pinch of love I guess. Should I stop it entirely, or do I train to keep it nice and not bite hard? Im thinking if he keeps it nice, so get used to having hands in his mouth when we need to remove the rocks that he chews on and brush your teeth. ¿Council?
